Nelson Dilipkumar scored a huge blockbuster. Featuring Superstar Rajinikanth in the lead role, Jailer was sensational at the box office. Jailer is all set to become the biggest blockbuster of 2023 in the Tamil Industry. Rajinikanth’s swag in the movie plus the cameo appearances of Shiva Rajkumar and Mohanlal have worked really well. Jailer is performing really well in the Telugu States as well. It is quite strong on the weekday as well. In the full run, Jailer will stand as one of the biggest films in the dubbed category.
However, a segment from the movie has made some of the Telugu fans feel disappointed and it indeed hurt them. Nelson incorporated a few sequences where he unintentionally took a dig at the Telugu heroes who do masala films. Sunil played that role and he hails from Andhra Pradesh in the movie. This entire segment where the director projected the Telugu hero as dumb comes in major portions in the second half.
While some of the fans are deeply hurt, luckily for Nelson it didn’t turn controversial.
