John Abraham has drawn criticism with his answer at the media event of his movie Attack. When asked about the film’s competition with RRR, John Abraham replied, “I have huge respect for Rajamouli but also huge respect for what we have done. Bollywood is not No. 2 to anyone.” When asked whether he would do a Telugu/Tamil film, he replied, “I will not do a regional film just to be in business. I am a Hindi hero and will continue to be so.”
His answer definitely has drawn criticism and wasn’t received well. Now, Shahid Kapoor was asked the same question. His answer is completely different. He was asked the question about Jersey competing with two biggies KGF Chapter and Beast.
“We have decided to release on April 14th because we thought that is the right time. Similarly, they might have thought similar as well. All three movies are different from one another. Ours is an emotional sports drama. There is enough space for different genre movies and I don’t think there will be much overlapping,” he said.
Shahid also said that he is a huge fan of Allu Arjun and Vijay. He has also wished Yash good luck for KGF Chapter 2.
