The ticket prices for recent movies have become a talking point. At one point, audiences felt that the ticket prices for medium and some of the high budget flicks are way too high. Audiences opposed the hike in ticket prices for every other movie. So the producers backed off and started promoting the new releases with low ticket pricing.
The movies like Major, Sita Ramam, Bimbisara, and Karthikeya 2 benefited from the strategy to price the movie at low rates. However, the next release Liger will have a hike in the ticket prices.
In Nizam, movie ticket prices are increased. The advance bookings are open and the audiences are surprised to see the hike in the ticket prices. For the single screens, the prices are Rs. 175 and for the multiplexes, it is Rs. 250. For premium multiplexes like AMB Cinemas, the prices are fixed at Rs. 295.
In Andhra Pradesh, the ticket prices stand at Rs. 147 and Rs. 177 respectively for single screens and multiplexes respectively.
