This potential selection might mean that the in-form Sanju Samson could miss out on the ICC event despite his stellar performances this IPL season. Rahul’s consistent performances over the years make his selection understandable, while Dube’s recent form with CSK adds to his chances.
However, Pant’s selection might be controversial given his long absence from professional cricket and lack of recent experience with the national team. Nonetheless, his IPL form could influence the selectors’ decision.
