Telangana Chief Minister, Bharat Rashtra Samithi K Chandrasekhar Rao’s daughter, MLC Kalvakuntla Kavitha has today termed the accusations against her in the Delhi Liquor Scam as bogus and false. She accused it of a political vendetta by the Bharatiya Janatha Party.
Kavitha was responding to the accusations made by Congress MP and Telangana in-charge Manickam Tagore and BJP leader Komatireddy Rajagopal Reddy. She explained that the BJP fears KCR will expose anti-farmer, pro-capitalist policies and hence their political vendetta.
She tweeted that only time will prove her sincerity. The Congress leader earlier quoted the charges filed by the Enforcement Directorate officials in the chargesheet filed by them. It is known that Kavitha was questioned for almost 7 hours on December 11th and the authorities have recorded her statement.
