Defense Minister Rajnath Singh criticized the Andhra Pradesh government at an event in Visakhapatnam. He mentioned that despite the Center’s interest in completing the Polavaram project, the state government doesn’t seem committed.
The defense minister also expressed concern about Visakhapatnam becoming a hub for drug distribution. Rajnath Singh highlighted the state’s financial challenges, citing increasing taxes and debt burdens. He accused the state of diverting funds and mentioned efforts to make Andhra Pradesh free from corruption and the ruling party.
Rajnath Singh also talked about the NDA’s focus on ‘one nation, one election’ in the next five years, highlightingthe BJP’s principles of fairness and non-bias compared to Congress’s divisive politics.
