Today’s Andhra Pradesh assembly elections became an act of embarrassment. Elected representatives manhandling each other serves no purpose and indicates the state of things in Andhra Pradesh. Both YSRCP and TDP should be blamed for this kind of act. Both parties are continuing the blame game like always.
However, here’s the interesting thing. Andhra Pradesh speaker Tammineni Sitharam compared YS Jagan to Lord Sriram. He tried to establish what has happened in the house. “TDP leaders tried to dethrone me from the chair. They have thrown papers at me. I am no Buddha but our CM who is like a Lord Sriram is there to protect me and even the assembly and state from the evil forces,” he said.
Comparing his boss to a god has certainly gone overboard. We have to wait and see how TDP reacts to these comments.
