Shankar as Indian 2 was put on hold, started Ram Charan’s project. The shooting has progressed very well. A few schedules were completed. But now Indian 2 is back on track. All the hurdles have been cleared. So, Shankar is back to the Indian 2. He has moved his base back from Hyderabad to Chennai.
The sources revealed that Shankar is currently in the USA and he kickstarted the pre-production works of Indian 2. He will return to Chennai only by the end of this month. The regular shooting of Indian 2 will resume in the first week of September. Kajal Aggarwal will join the sets on September 13th. This will be her first film post-pregnancy.
Siddharth and Rakul Preet Singh have been playing crucial roles in the movie. Nedumudi Venu and Vivek who were seen in crucial roles in the first installment were replaced by Sathyaraj and Karthik as the former two passed away. Plans are on to complete the movie’s shooting by the end of this year.
