Former US President Donald Trump and his two eldest children must testify i.e., must answer court under an oath in New York state’s civil investigation. It was for the alleged fraud in the valuation of assets regarding his family business. Arthur Engoron, the Judge ruled out that Trump and his eldest children Donald Jr and Ivanka – comply with subpoenas issued by New York Attorney General Letitia James in December.

Letita has been investigating whether Donald Trump’s organization has used any fraudulent or misleading valuations of its assets to attract loans and reduce its tax burden. US judge Arthur Engoron has said that within 21 days, Trump and his two children must sit for a deposition. Trump should also hand over documents and information within 14 days.

The judge issued the ruling following two-hour arguments between the lawyers of Trump’s and James’ offices. With this ruling, now, Donald Trump and his two eldest children will have to face questioning by James.
