Salaar vs Dunki is one of the most fierce box-office competitions in recent times. Both the big movies, which have their strengths, have their regional advantage are getting released on the same day i.e., December 22nd. While Salaar is extremely strong in the south region, Dunki is strong in the North.
However, Salaar might be at the receiving end despite having a strong buzz. Most of the single screens in the North are allocated to Dunki. The exhibition sector is playing as per the tunes of the Dunki exhibitor who is a big player there and citing SRK’s recent track record and Raj Kumar Hirani’s factor, Dunki has got the majority chunk of the theaters. Salaar was limited to only multiplexes there.
An out-and-out mass movie not getting enough theaters is surely a dent in the collections. Elsewhere, Salaar is dominating Dunki. The movie is extremely strong with advance sales in the US and Canada so far. Dunki is no match to Salaar in these regions.
