Popular music composer Devi Sri Prasad was trolled badly a couple of years back for his repetitive music. The chances were slowed down for DSP and the rise of Thaman started from there. But now the wheels turned yet again. Devi Sri Prasad is back in demand. He has a bunch of films up his kitty.
Recently, DSP received a National Award for his work in Pushpa: The Rise. The stakes of the music composer increased ever since. He is currently working for Pushpa: The Rule. He is working for the first time with Sekhar Kammula for Dhanush’s movie. DSP has also signed Vishal’s next.
He is in talks for Balakrishna – Bobby’s project. The works for Suriya’s Kanguva and Pawan Kalyan’s Ustaad Bhagat Singh have been going on. Apart from all these projects, DSP is working on a couple of Hindi movies.
It is said that Devi Sri Prasad has hiked his fee recently after the National Award. So, he is out of the league of medium and small-budget movies.
