Telugu Desam Party chief Nara Chandrababu Naidu during this three-day visit to his own Kuppam constituency has showered promises on the Kuruba community. He unveiled the statue of the Kurubas family deity, Bhakta Kanakadas near PES Medical College in Kuppam. Chandrababu reminisced the sacrifices of the great saint.
He suggested the Kuruba community continue their great culture. He promised that a training center would be set up for them once TDP came to power. CBN has also promised that a member from the Kuruba community will be suggested to the board members of TTD and as an MLC.
Chandrababu Naidu said that the current government hasn’t allocated any funds to the Kuruba community. He has also promised to promote them in higher education as well. Further, he promised allotment of vacant lands to Kurubas and sanctioned loans on high subsidy.
