Actor, Humanitarian, and UBlood brand ambassador Sonu Sood has won a special award last night. Popular media house CNN-News18 hosted the Indian of the Year 2022 awards and Sonu Sood won the award in the special achievement category. He received the award from Union Minister Nitin Gadkari.

After winning the award Sonu Sood stated that he don’t know whether he deserves the award or not. “But receiving the honor from Nitin Ji is special.”

He added, “I am playing the most important role of my life. The almighty is the director and I wish this movie doesn’t end.”

Sonu Sood came into the spotlight after he helped the migrants reach their hometowns during the national lockdown. Sonu Sood first thought his job was done, but that has just started.

It is known that Sonu Sood is endorsing UBlood app which acts as a bridge between donors and recipients in needy times. UBlood founder Jai Yalamanchili congratulated Sonu Sood on receiving the special achievement award.
