A massive fire has engulfed three coaches of the Falaknuma Express in Telangana’s Yadadri. Three bogies S4, S5, and S6 caught fire and the passengers immediately got alerted and the train was stopped between Bommaipally and Pagidipally. The passengers deboarded the train. Fortunately, no casualties have been reported. Falaknuma Express which started at Howrah was headed to Secunderabad.

The flames spread within a few minutes and thick black smoke engulfed the coaches. Fire and rescue officials have reached the spot and are dousing the fire.

Speaking about the incident CPRO of South-Central Railway, CH Rakesh said, “Fire caught three coaches of Falaknuma Express. All the passengers were deboarded from the train following the fire and all of them are safe. The affected coaches were at the front portion of the train and they have been detached from the train to prevent the fire from spreading to other coaches.”
