Artificial intelligence startup Perplexity is reportedly in talks with smartphone giants Samsung and Motorola to integrate its AI assistant into their phones. While discussions with Samsung are still in the early stages, Motorola has already agreed to include Perplexity’s assistant in its upcoming Razr phones, which are expected to be announced on April 24.

This potential partnership marks a major step for Perplexity as it aims to challenge established AI assistants like Google’s Gemini. If successful, Samsung could preload the AI assistant on Galaxy smartphones or offer it as an alternative to its current default assistant.
