Prabhas’s film Kalki 2898 AD continues to make waves, not just in theaters but also on streaming platforms. Released in June, the film is now available on Amazon Prime Video and Netflix.
Since August 22, the Hindi version on Netflix has been a top performer, consistently leading with the highest views globally. Within two weeks, the film has garnered 7.1 million views, with 2.6 million in the first week alone, making it the top non-English film on Netflix.
The science fiction epic has grossed around Rs 1200 crores.
The sequel to Kalki is set to start production in four months. Producers have revealed that some parts of the sequel were filmed alongside the first part, with key scenes and VFX work still pending.
