The National Body Building Championship in Ratlam was covered with controversy after the female bodybuilders flex their muscles in bikinis in front of a Hanuman idol. Congress officials felt that it was an insult to Lord Hanuman and in order to set things straight they sprinkled “gang jal” at the location. This championship was held by the Bharatiya Janata Party in Ratlam, Madhya Pradesh.
The competition happened on March 4th and 5th as a part of the 13th Mister Junior Bodybuilding Competition and women bodybuilders who wore bikinis performed in front of the Lord Hanuman deity. The video of this championship has gone viral on social media.
The city’s BJP mayor Prahlad Patel and legislator Chaitanya Kashyap were a part of the organizing committee according to the invitation. The thing that the Congress officials purified the place with gang jal is another angle to the story.
