When asked how soon Congress might see its next Prime Minister, Revanth Reddy responded that support from seasoned leaders such as Chandrababu Naidu and Nitish Kumar could make this a reality.
Revanth Reddy expressed concern over a generational shift leading voters toward the BJP, suggesting that today’s politics resemble ‘Swiggy Politics,’ where instant results are prioritized over traditional ideals. He drew an analogy to the past, when meals were prepared at home, comparing it to modern convenience food deliveries. He believes that the shift has impacted political preferences, reducing ideological depth.
Revanth Reddy also voiced disappointment that PM Modi and Home Minister Amit Shah have yet to visit the Bhadrachalam Temple in Telangana. He underscored the need for Andhra Pradesh and Telangana to resolve water and other interstate issues.
Reflecting on his early years, Revanth Reddy shared that he learned patriotism through ABVP, development and welfare from Telugu Desam, and social justice from Congress, shaping his broad political outlook.
