There is a slight dip in the COVID positive cases that are getting registered for the 24-hour time frame. According to the Union Health Ministry official data, India has seen 9,111 fresh COVID cases. With this, the number of active COVID cases in the nation has climbed up to 60K plus.
The daily positivity was recorded at 8.40 percent and the weekly positivity rate was pegged at 4.94 percent. With 27 deaths recorded in the last 24 hours, the overall death toll has increased to 5,31,141. The active cases comprise 0.13 percent of the total infections. The national COVID recovery rate is recorded at 98.68 percent.
According to the ministry’s official data, 220.66 crore doses of Covid vaccine have been administered so far.
