Fresh COVID cases are continuing to register over 1,000. India has registered 1,573 fresh COVID cases in the last 24 hours. With this, the number of active cases has increased to 10,981. The data was released by the Union Health Ministry on Tuesday. As per the date updated in the morning, Kerala has registered four deaths due to COVID taking the total up to 5,30,841.
The daily positivity rate has been recorded at 1.30 percent and the weekly positivity rate has been recorded at 1.47 percent. According to the official website, the recovery rate has been 98.79 percent.
According to the ministry’s website, 220.65 crore doses of COVID vaccines have been administered until now.
