A good news for wildlife lovers. The female cheetah Siya, who came from Namibia in Madhya Pradesh’s Kuno National Park, has given birth to four cute cubs.
According to officials, all the cubs are safe and are being kept under special observation.
The news of Siya’s four children is a great relief. This comes two days after the death of another female cheetah, Sasha, who died of kidney disease.
Officials said that Siya was pregnant and was being looked after by a special team and she gave birth to four cubs.
Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan tweeted that due to the inspiration and successful efforts of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, the cheetah has made a happy return to India.
He further added, “It is extremely heartening for us that the cheetah family is increasing in Kuno. The successful management of the forest department, Kuno National Park, local administration has yielded pleasant results. I congratulate the entire team of the forest department, whose The Cheetah project is progressing successfully in India under supervision.”
Union Minister Bhupendra Yadav has also congratulated through Twitter.
Bhupendra Yadav said in a tweet, “I am very happy to inform that one of the female cheetahs brought to India on 17 September 2022 under the visionary leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi has given birth to four cubs.”
