Delhi Police at Rahul Gandhi’s house: Congress says – government is scared

Some officers of Delhi Police reached the house of former Congress President and MP Rahul Gandhi on Sunday. The political temperature has risen due to this.

The Congress has opened a front against the Delhi Police and the Central Government. When the police team reached Rahul Gandhi’s house, only then the leaders of the party started gathering there. Rajasthan Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot and other leaders held a press conference after some time and made serious allegations against the central government.

The Congress has alleged that the central government is ‘frightened by the Adani case’. If he is concerned about women’s safety then why was the question raised after 45 days of Bharat Jodo Yatra ending?

The Bharatiya Janata Party has given its response to the arrival of Delhi Police at Congress leader Rahul Gandhi’s house. the BJP said that the police have the right to collect information.

BJP spokesperson Sambit Patra said, “A woman has been raped and Rahul Gandhi as a parliamentarian said this in front of the country, so shouldn’t this information be with the police?”

He told, “Today police went to his house to serve notice, requested him to tell about those women. Now Congress is saying that democracy is in danger.”

In fact, during the Bharat Jodo Yatra, Rahul Gandhi had said that some women who came to meet him told that they were being molested.

Referring to this statement of Rahul Gandhi, Sambit Patra said, “When he asked whether I should inform the police about this, the women said that this would increase their problems further.”
