The COVID cases in the country are slowly turning into an alarming situation. For the first time in six months, the COVID positive cases have crossed the 6K mark. India reported 6,050 new COVID cases in the past 24 hours. The data was released by the Union Health Ministry. The COVID positive percentage is 13 percent more than yesterday. The total active cases have raised to 28,303.
According to the data, 14 people have breathed their last due to the deadly virus. A total of 5,30,943 people have lost their lives since the start of the COVID-19 pandemic in the nation. As of now, a total of 2.2 billion vaccines have been administered since the start of the vaccination drive by the country in January 2021.
Union Health Minister Dr. Mansukh Mandaviya has called a review meeting with the health ministers of all states and Union territories to understand the readiness of the condition.
