A central team arrived in Andhra Pradesh to assess the recent flood damage and met with Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu at the state secretariat. Over the past two days, the team toured flood-affected districts, including NTR, Krishna, Guntur, and Bapatla.

During their visit, the central team discussed the ongoing damage enumeration efforts. The state government submitted an initial report to the central team, estimating a loss of Rs 6,882 crore due to the floods.
CM Chandrababu Naidu urged the central government to declare the floods a national disaster, highlighting the extensive loss of crops and property across the affected areas.
