Visakhapatnam: Four Class IX students from St. Anthony’s Boarding Home in Visakhapatnam’s Maharani Peta area have been reported missing since the evening of December 9. The students, identified as N. Kiran Kumar, P. Kartik, B. Charan Teja, and G. Raghu, were last seen leaving the hostel premises.

Speaking to the press, Maharani Peta Circle Inspector Bhaskar shared insights into the case. “According to the home pastor, the boys watched the movie Lucky Bhaskar on Sunday (December 8). Other children revealed that the missing students had discussed arriving at school in a car. One of them reportedly had Rs. 12,000 but paid only Rs. 8,000 in fees, taking the remaining amount with him,” Bhaskar said.

The disappearance was captured on the hostel’s CCTV cameras, prompting authorities to file a missing person’s report after parents confirmed the boys had not returned home. Police are currently reviewing CCTV footage from nearby bus stands and railway stations to trace their movements.

Authorities have urged the public to share any information about the students’ whereabouts. The police remain optimistic, speculating the boys may return once their money runs out. The investigation is ongoing.
