“What a beautiful film!” Samantha reacts after watching Shaakuntalam

It is very well known that Samantha Ruth Prabhu played the titular role in the movie Shaakuntalam which is based on Kalidas’s play Abhignana Shaakuntalam. Malayalam actor Dev Mohan will be seen as King Dushyanta and Allu Arjun’s daughter Allu Arha plays the role of Prince Bharatha. Guna Sekhar who is known for these kinds of mammoth films directed it.

Shaakuntalam’s shooting got completed a long time back and the post-production activities took time. The film is getting released on April 14th on a Pan-Indian level. Samantha happened to watch Shaakuntalam recently and was extremely impressed with the narration.

She posted on social media, “And I finally watched the movie today! @Gunasekhar1 garu.. you have my heart. What a beautiful film! One of our greatest epics brought to life so endearingly! I can’t wait for our family audiences to be swept away by the powerful emotions!”
