Kannada dubbed movie Kantara took a stunning start at the box office. The movie is not known to the Telugu audiences a month back but now it is minting money at the box office. Kantara earned cult status very early. It becomes one of the highest openers in the Kannada Cinema after the KGF series.
The demand increased for the dubbing versions of the movie and here is the Telugu version which was released on October 15th. In two days, the movie collected a share of Rs. 4.5 Crores which is amazing. Directed and acted by Rishab Shetty, the reviews also helped the movie in a big way.
On the other hand, the other releases like Crazy Fellow, and Boyfriend for Hire have failed to put in any numbers. The occupancies are nearly zero and the shows of these movies are getting replaced by Kantara now.
Mega Star Chiranjeevi’s GodFather couldn’t add much to the tally on the second weekend.
