Victory Venkatesh and his nephew Rana Daggubati did a web series named Rana Naidu. The show was one of the most watched shows on Netflix but it didn’t appeal well to the Telugu audiences who have been accustomed to seeing Venkatesh in family kind of roles. Rana Naidu was too wayward than one would have expected.
Venkatesh who was shooting for his next was unavailable to the media. However, Venky made his presence at the recent Ahimsa press meet to promote his other nephew Abhiram Daggubati who is making his acting debut.
During the press meet, Venky faced the question to respond to the Rana Naidu controversy. Venkatesh said that he expects better from the next season. “I am happy with the response for Rana Naidu. Netflix is happy. I have tried new in my career and Rana Naidu is one of them. A few changes can be expected which could be better for season 2,” he said.
