Nandamuri Balakrishna’s mass action entertainer Veera Simha Reddy has opened to great numbers at the box office. Veera Simha Reddy is a mass entertainer which received average to above-average reviews. However, the buzz is great for the film which translated into big numbers.
The producers have officially stated that the movie has collected a gross of Rs. 50 Crores at the box office on Day 1 which includes premiers and benefit shows. It is such a huge number. Balakrishna’s biggest hit Akhanda collected a gross of Rs. 23 Crores on Day 1 and now Veera Simha Reddy beat that with double the margin.
The World Wide Nett is collected around Rs. 32 Crores. The film collected $750K with its premiers and day one numbers. This is the highest opener for Balakrishna’s film overseas.
Directed by Gopichand Malineni, the film has Shruti Haasan in the female lead role. Varalakshmi Sarath Kumar and Honey Rose were seen in crucial characters.
