These are tough times for the dashing director Puri Jagannath. For the past few years, Puri Jagannath hasn’t tasted success as he would have expected. Ismart Shankar was an exception. He attempted Liger with Vijay Deverakonda which was supposed to be the launch pad for both Vijay and Puri in Bollywood.
However, Liger failed miserably and thus plans have backfired badly. Puri Jagannath and Vijay Deverakonda had to put on hold JGM which they started even before the release of Liger.
Vijay has moved on to his next, Kushi. He will next do a project with Gautham Tinnanuri as well. However, Puri Jagannath is still on the search for a hero. He has approached different stars but nothing quite materialized. As per the info, Puri has contacted Ram Pothineni again who is currently doing a movie with Boyapati Srinu.
We have to wait and see if this materializes.
