Mythri Movie Makers turned out to be one of the biggest production houses in Tollywood. They are constantly producing big-budget films. For this Sankranthi, they gambled big time by pitching two of their films as competition. Waltair Veerayya and Veera Simha Reddy competed at the box office for this Sankranthi festival.
Mythri faced difficulties in producing both movies as the production costs went up. The budgets were not in control as the shootings got delayed for various reasons. Plus, they gambled by releasing the film on their own in the majority of the areas. It is known that the production house recently opened the distribution office as well.
Though the production costs went up, both Waltair Veerayya and Veera Simha Reddy minted gold for the producers. It is said that the production house pocketed at least Rs. 40 Crores by producing and releasing both these flicks.
