Megastar Chiranjeevi opened up about picking up remakes in his career. Since his comeback, most of his films have been remake except for Acharya, Syeraa, and Waltair Veerayya. There has been criticism of Chiranjeevi picking up more remakes recently and he opened up about it on the stage of Bholaa Shankar’s pre-release event.
“There has been discussion about me picking more remakes. I don’t know what is wrong with it. If we see a good movie and want to bring it to our audiences, there is nothing wrong with it. Coming to Bholaa Shankar, which is Vedalam remake, the original is not available on any OTT platforms and I want to give that experience to our people. That is why I chose to do this remake. I did this film mainly because I loved the movie and Meher Ramesh brought this subject to me.
Keerthy Suresh played the sister role in this movie. Mahati Swara Sagar is the music composer and Bholaa Shankar will be released on August 11th.
