The Akkineni family had a bad outing in the year 2022. The Akkineni’s started the year with Bangarraju, which’s content is questioned but mainly did well due to the Sankranthi festive season. Nagarjuna and Naga Chaitanya played lead roles in the movie.
Akkineni Akhil didn’t even have a release in 2022 other than Most Eligible Bachelor. The movie had done decently well. He has pinned high hopes on Agent but the movie got postponed to the next year.
Naga Chaitanya had a disaster in the form of Thank You. Even his Bollywood attempt Laal Singh Chaddha is one of the biggest Bollywood disasters. His performance has received negative feedback as well.
Akkineni Nagarjuna faced two major disasters as a solo hero. The films The Ghost and Wild Dog were huge duds. These films didn’t even receive respectable openings as well.
Hope the Akkinenis will make a huge comeback in 2023.
