Hyderabad: Naga Chaitanya has finally responded to Telangana minister Konda Surekha’s claims linking his divorce with Samantha Ruth Prabhu to BRS president KT Rama Rao. Surekha alleged that political involvement caused the celebrity couple’s separation.
Naga Chaitanya, who usually keeps his personal life private, called the claims ‘ridiculous’ and clarified that their divorce was a mutual decision based on different life goals. He condemned the baseless rumors and criticized Konda Surekha’s statements for exploiting their private lives for media attention.
Samantha Ruth Prabhu also addressed the controversy, stating that her divorce was a personal matter, decided peacefully, and had no political involvement. She urged Konda Surekha to keep her name out of political disputes.
Konda Surekha had claimed Samantha refused a political favor, leading to the divorce, and accused KT Rama Rao of tapping phone lines and blackmailing actresses. The remarks have sparked widespread discussion.
Both Samantha and Chaitanya have firmly denied these allegations.
