Hyderabad: Megastar Chiranjeevi has expressed disappointment over Minister Konda Surekha’s comments involving Samantha, Naga Chaitanya, and Nagarjuna while criticizing BRS leader KTR. The remarks caused a stir, leading Chiranjeevi to condemn the incident on social media platform X.
Chiranjeevi stated, “I am deeply hurt by the derogatory comments made by the honorable minister. Targeting celebrities and film families to stay in the news is shameful. We strongly oppose such verbal attacks on members of the film industry. Politicians should not drag unrelated people, especially women, into such issues.”
Chiranjeevi also highlighted that political leaders must serve as role models for society and urged them not to stoop to making such remarks.
Chiranjeevi called for more respect and decency in public discourse, especially when addressing individuals with no connection to politics. His message was widely appreciated by his followers and others in the film industry.
