Dhanush is on a roll these days. He is bringing out films at a brisk pace. His last movie Thiruchitrambalam was a massive BO success. The film went on to cross Rs. 100 Crores at the box office. Now, Dhanush will come before the audience with a college drama SIR/Vaathi. Venky Atluri is the director of the movie and it is carrying decent buzz. SIR/Vaathi will be released on February 17th.
The film particularly enjoys a long weekend at the US box office as Monday will be observed as President’s Day. On this day, governmental establishments, non-retail companies, several IT firms, and schools will be shut down. So it is a very good opportunity for the film to enjoy a long weekend provided it got a decent talk on the opening day.
There are chances that the film will become Dhanush’s highest-grosser.
