Today afternoon the sad news broke out that the veteran singing legend Vani Jayaram has passed away. She was aged 77. The recipient of Padma Bhushan, Vani Jayaram sang over 10,000 songs in more than 10 Indian languages. Her work is unparalleled, especially in Telugu Cinema.
The singer breathed her last at her residence in Chennai on Saturday. She was living alone in her flat. Now, the news popped up late that Vani Jayaram was found dead in her flat mysteriously. It is said that despite repeated attempts from her maid, ringing the bell, and banging the door, the main door wasn’t opened. Her maid informed her relatives who in turn informed the Police.
In the presence of relatives, the Police opened the door only to find her body in a mysterious condition. It is said that the Police have registered the case and are investigating it.
