Ace filmmaker SS Rajamouli‘s masterpiece RRR has missed the BAFTA 2023 nominations. The movie on Thursday failed to make the cut in the final nominations for the 2023 BAFTA awards. RRR was on the long list of the ‘film not in the English language’ category, but unfortunately, it missed out on the final five nominations.
All Quiet On The Western Front, Argentina, 1985, Corsage, Decision To Leave, and The Quiet Girl. are the final nominations for the prestigious British Academy Film Awards (BAFTA). It is known that RRR has bagged the Golden Globe Award for Best Original Song. Also, the song Naatu Naatu and the movie won the Critics Choice Awards. One must feel it a rare miss not to be in the BAFTA nominations.
An Indian documentary Shaunak Sen’s ‘All That Breathes’ gets nominated in the Best Documentary list and it will be a proud moment indeed.
