Shweta Tiwari, A Television actress has been promoting her new web series ‘Show Stopper’. At the promotional event where other artists Digangana Suryavanshi, Saurabh Jain, Rohit Roy, and others were present Shweta Tiwari has made some comments which turned controversial. She said, ‘Mere bra ki size Bhagwan le rahe hai’ which means that God is taking her bra measurements. This particular statement turned controversial.
She has said that in context referring to Saurabh Jain, who played Lord Krishna in the TV show Mahabharatha. Saurabh Jain plays the role of ‘bra fitter’ in the series ‘Show Stopper’. Shweta Tiwari said in a sarcastic tone referring the actor to his role in the previous work.
Madhya Pradesh Home Minister Narottam Mishra asked the Police personnel to investigate her remark. However, Shweta Tiwari has apologized for her statement. She clarified that her intention is not to disgrace anyone. She said that her statement was completely misconstrued.
