Film actress Priyanka Chopra has told the reasons for leaving the Hindi film industry in an American podcast program. In this program, she has claimed that she was fed up with the politics of the Hindi film industry. Also, she was not happy with the work she was getting here.

In conversation with Dax Shepherd and Monica Padman, hosts of the American weekly podcast program ‘Armchair Expert’, Priyanka Chopra Jonas has kept her point on many issues.

In this program, she has shared her experiences on many issues like traveling from Bollywood to Hollywood, leaving India and settling in America, love affair with Nick Jonas, getting less money than male artists. She has also talked about her journey from acting to singing.

Chopra has told that she was looking for a way to get out of Bollywood. In such a situation, due to music, she got a chance to explore the other part of the world.

She claimed that she was not happy with the work she was getting in Bollywood. In such a situation, when I got an opportunity to sing, I left Bollywood and went to America on its pretext.

She started her singing career in 2012 with ‘In My City’.

Chopra married American singer and actor Nick Jonas in 2018 and settled there. Last year she became a mother.

On the other hand, actress Kangana Ranaut, who worked with Priyanka Chopra in ‘Fashion’, has accused Karan Johar.

Kangana said, “Priyanka Chopra says about Bollywood that people harassed her by forming gangs and threw her out of the film industry. A ‘self-made’ woman was forced to leave India. Everyone knows that Karan Johar banned her.”

In another tweet, she wrote, “This mean the man should be held responsible for destroying the culture and environment of the film industry, which was never hostile to outsiders in the days of Amitabh Bachchan or Shahrukh Khan.”
