Hyderabad: Actor Allu Arjun has extended financial assistance of Rs 25 lakh to the family of Revathi, a 35-year-old woman who tragically lost her life in a stampede during the premiere of Pushpa 2: The Rule at Sandhya Theatre in Hyderabad on December 4. The stampede, which occurred due to overcrowding at the venue, also left Revathi’s 9-year-old son, Sritej, critically injured.
In a heartfelt video statement, Allu Arjun expressed his condolences to Revathi’s family, pledging to cover all medical expenses related to the incident. “This loss can never be covered,” he said. “We are emotionally with you and will support you in any way possible. I want to secure their future and provide any help needed.”

Sritej remains in critical condition at KIMS Hospital, Secunderabad. Doctors have reported slight improvements, stating he is neurologically responsive and stable on ventilator support, though he continues to be monitored closely. CPR administered at the scene proved crucial in saving his life, enabling subsequent medical intervention.
Meanwhile, police have registered a case against Allu Arjun, his security team, and the theater management, citing negligence. The scheduled press conference for Pushpa 2 has been canceled as investigations continue.
