Amaravati: Former YSR Congress Party (YSRCP) MLC Sitaramraju Sudhakar recently joined the opposition alliance ahead of the upcoming elections. Along with his entry, Sudhakar was appointed as the Executive Vice-Chairman of the prestigious NTR Vaidya Seva Trust, also known as the Aarogyasri Trust.
Sitaramraju Sudhakar, who previously held a strong position within the YSRCP government, has been regarded as a close confidant of YSRCP leader and Chief Minister YS Jagan Mohan Reddy. Political circles widely acknowledge his proximity to key figures like YV Subba Reddy, further solidifying his influence within the party.

The decision to offer Sitaramraju Sudhakar a significant role in the trust has sparked discussion, particularly given his new alignment with the opposition alliance. Observers note that his inclusion in the Prime Minister’s protocol list at a recent event underscores his growing importance, even surpassing some senior leaders within the alliance.
This strategic move has led to speculation among political analysts, with many questioning the rationale behind granting such prominence to a former rival. The development has stirred debates within the political corridors, with some expressing frustration over the prioritization of power dynamics.
