Earlier releases Sita Ramam and Karthikeya 2 have dominated the latest release Liger. Vijay Deverakonda’s Liger is the biggest release of this season. The Pan Indian attempt misfired and turned out into a huge embarrassment for the team. Puri Jagannath is facing trolls, and so is Vijay Deverakonda. Though his performance is appreciated, his attitude and his over-confidence in the film promotions drew criticism.
Liger performed poorly in the Telugu States and in the North as well. It has already been a washout in Tamil, Kannada, and Malayalam languages. In the Telugu States, past releases like Sita Ramam and Karthikeya 2 dominated the box office. Sita Ramam was impressive in class centers. Multiplex audiences are repeat watching the film.
Karthikeya 2 is fantastic in all areas. The movie is already a double blockbuster. Bimbisara is decent on the weekend as well. Liger’s flop turned out to be advantageous for these three films.
