Indira Devi’s final rites performed at Mahaprasthanam

By now everyone is well aware that Super Star Krishna’s wife, Mahesh Babu’s mother Indira Devi breathed her last in the wee hours today. She was suffering from several health issues and was in the hospital for the past week. The mortal remains of Indira Devi were kept open at the Padmalaya Studios for public viewing.

Several celebrities paid their homage to Indira Devi and extended their condolences to the Ghattamaneni family. Now, the final rites of Indira Devi were performed. Mahesh Babu performed the rites as per the Hindu tradition. She was laid to rest forever at Mahaprasthanam.

Indira Devi’s demise is a huge loss to the Ghattamaneni family. We hope that God will be with them and they stay strong.
