It is a major relief for Bollywood actress Jacqueline Fernandez. It is known that Jacqueline is facing a money laundering case worth 200 crores involving conman Sukesh Chandrashekhar. The Bollywood actress was grilled by agencies CBI, ED, and the Delhi Police Economic Offences Wing (EOW) several times.
Patiala High Court has summoned her in connection with the ED case. Conman Sukesh is accused of gifting jewelry worth Rs. 7 Crores to Jacqueline Fernandez. Apart from jewelry, Jacqueline was allegedly gifted many expensive gifts like diamond sets, expensive bags, etc.,
The Patiala house in New Delhi granted interim bail for Jacqueline Fernandez on a bond of Rs 50,000. The next hearing regarding the case will take place on October 22nd. Earlier, ED named Jacqueline Fernandez as the accused in the charge sheet filed by them.
Sukesh Chandrasekhar is currently lodged in Tihar Jail.
