Hyderabad: The Indian Premier League (IPL) 2025 is set to captivate cricket fans once again, and the battle for dominance isn’t just on the field—it’s on social media too. Among the ten competing franchises, Chennai Super Kings (CSK) have emerged as the most followed team across Instagram, X (Twitter), and Facebook.

CSK leads with 16.6 million Instagram followers, 10.7 million on X, and 14 million on Facebook, bringing their total to 41.3 million followers. Close behind is Mumbai Indians (MI) with 15.1M Instagram followers, 8.2M on X, and 14M on Facebook, totaling 37.3 million.
Despite never winning an IPL trophy, Royal Challengers Bengaluru (RCB) remain a fan favorite, securing the third spot with 33.3M followers. Defending champions Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) rank fourth with 28.8M followers.
Among the newer teams, Gujarat Titans (GT) and Lucknow Super Giants (LSG) rank lowest in social media popularity with 6.4M and 5.1M followers, respectively.
