Most of the goods manufactured in Telangana are exported to America. The exports accumulate to 26.26 percent. It is followed by China and Russia with 6.78 percent and 4.01 percent respectively. Along with medicines manufactured in the state, food, textile products, and aircraft parts are being exported to America. China majorly imports cotton, minerals, and machinery.
During the years 2020-21, Telangana exported merchandise goods worth Rs 64,539 crore. Out of the total goods exported, 65 percent constituted Pharmaceutical goods and organic chemicals. Telangana has been on the top regarding pharmaceutical production. According to the statistics, Telangana produces 30 percent of the total nation’s pharma.
Since the introduction of Ease of Doing Business, Telangana has been consistently ranked in the top 3 states in India.
