Sankranthi is just a few days away. It is the biggest festival for the Telugu States, especially the movie lovers. For Sankranthi, Mahesh Babu’s Guntur Kaaram, Ravi Teja’s Eagle, Venkatesh’s Saindhav, Nagarjuna’s Naa Saami Ranga, and Teja Sajja’s HanuMan are getting released. Accommodating five films for the Sankranthi festival is a herculean task and many are expecting at least a film or two to postpone their movies.
It is said that yesterday, the makers of these films met to discuss the release plans as buyers are backing out due to multiple releases. However, it is said that the discussions weren’t fruitful as all the producers were adamant about releasing their movie for the festival.
Mahesh Babu’s Guntur Kaaram is the first one to be announced for the Sankranthi festival. Guntur Kaaram announced the date in March this year followed by HanuMan in July. We have to wait and see how these movies will plan their releases.
