Australia continues to boss the World Test Championship final. After dominating the first day, Australia continued the good work as Travis Head completed his 150 and Steven Smith his century. They both added a valuable partnership and took the Aussies to a dominating position. However, they both fell after contributing so much. India took four wickets in the first session and the remaining three in the next one.

Australia got all out for 469 in the first innings. India dropped their shoulders already after seeing a gigantic score. Rohit Sharma fell early as usual. Shubhman Gill had a brain fade moment as he left a Boland nip-backer. The real problems for India continued in the second innings as Virat Kohli and Cheteshwar Pujara fell before reaching their 20s as well. The top four batters scored 15, 13, 14, and 14 respectively.

Ajinkya Rahane and Ravindra Jadeja tried to stitch a valuable partnership but Jadeja got off to Lyon after reaching 48. At the end of day 2, India is reeling at 151 still trailing by 318 runs.
