Visakhapatnam: Cricket fever is set to grip Visakhapatnam as the city prepares to host two Indian Premier League (IPL) 2025 matches featuring Delhi Capitals (DC) at the Dr. YSR ACA VDCA International Cricket Stadium.
The first match will be held on March 24 at 7:30 PM, where DC will face Lucknow SuperGiants (LSG). The second match, scheduled for March 30 at 3:30 PM, will see DC take on Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH).
Visakhapatnam serves as the second home ground for Delhi Capitals, continuing its association from last season, when the team played two matches here. The 2023 IPL season saw a massive turnout of fans, especially when MS Dhoni played for Chennai Super Kings, making it a memorable experience for cricket lovers.
With excitement building up for DC vs SRH, a large crowd is expected to gather at the stadium. To ensure a seamless experience, the Andhra Cricket Association (ACA) has undertaken renovation works, including upgrades to dressing rooms and air-conditioned boxes. The DC team is scheduled to arrive in advance for practice sessions.
